�My passion for painting has run parallel to my obsession with the New Forest; it�s changing moods, wildlife, it�s ancient woods, heaths and wetlands. This intimate knowledge and delight in the changing light of the seasons forms the foundation from which I distill the essence of my paintings.�

�The power of the sun in particular, is the all powerful force which transforms the landscape. As birdsong celebrates the sunrise the soft forms of dawn, cool and grey, retreat before the warmth and bright light. These paintings are a celebration of the sun, on water, through foliage, shimmering after rain, penetrating the dark and secret world.�
